Hi! My name is Jeni and i’m addicted to running and being healthy. Ever since I began running a few years ago I’ve been obsessed with running in running skirts, I was never a huge fan of shorts and wanted something to cover me a bit more while I run, now I can’t live without my skirts!
I’m 36 and in 2008, I tried the Couch to 5K program and for a while i did ok, I was getting better but I was only running inside on the treadmill, I hated it. The treadmill bored me so so much so after a couple months I gave up on it. I also had some knee issues, and started physical therapy to strengthen my legs. I gave up on running for a while, but it was always there in the back of my mind as something I wanted to do. So in 2010, I gave it another shot and grew to love it. Now I only run outside and have joined several groups, I love living near the lake and enjoy an early morning run listening to the waves as I run.
in 2012 I did my very first half marathon, and completed 4 before 2012 was over. in 2013 I plan to run 13 half marathons and have already completed 5 of them.
Now I hope to inspire more people to be healthy and to give running a shot!
