What to do on non run days!

I’ve had a lot of no run days, giving my body a chance to heal.

Well it’s been a week of wishing I could run and doing things to get my body back to where it should be so I can run my next race in just over 2 weeks. So excited for my first race in Syracuse, NY the Empire State Half.

I started seeing a chiropractor last week and after 1 alignment I felt a lot better, but not 100%, from now until Christmas I’ll be seeing the chiropractor 3 times a week (except for a couple weeks when I’m out of town) so far so good, I have been twice this week and each time I feel better. I get an alignment every time and I have a few exercises that I do in the office. I’m going to try running again later this week I’m missing it and need to work my way back to running so I can finish off my races for the year!

I went for a long lakefront walk tonight, I love living by Lake Michigan. It’s so pretty and calming. Weather was perfect today, several sailboats were out on the water, I walked for about 4 miles and even though I wanted to run, this was really nice.
