So with the quad pain nagging me all summer, the DNF a few weeks ago and wanting to be able to run all the races I’m signed up for. I’ve been taking it easy and working with my ciropractor 3 times a week, and doing short runs. Today’s run was my longest in weeks, I ran 4 miles but I stopped a couple times for pictures and to enjoy the scenery. My company has it’s own park/rec center and there is a really nice 2 mile trail around the park, I did 2 laps today and I felt good throughout the run.
lets hope I’ll be ready for my half in just over a week! I feel pretty lucky that I have such a pretty place to run. I live about 2 miles from this park, if there wasn’t so much traffic I’d run to the park, but I’d rather drive over and be safe.
That looks like a lovely run, you are very lucky – good luck with the half-marathon next week!
